Volunteer Vacancies Youth Weapon Co-ordinators (6)

Following the successful experience of sending Scotland’s U15 and U13 fencers to Challenge Wratislavia in 2014 and 2015, we have decided to increase the opportunities for Scotland representation at these age groups.  In order to support this initiative we need to recruit six volunteers as Youth Weapon Co-ordinators – one for each weapon.

The Youth Weapon Co-ordinator’s rôle is to act as a focal point for matters involving their chosen weapon at U13 and U15 age groups. The position will require little specialist knowledge of the sport such that it will be well within the scope of a parent or adult social fencer with a desire to be part of something that benefits Scotland’s youth fencers. The position would enjoy the enthusiastic support of Scottish Fencing executive staff and Board.
