Junior Commonwealth Staff Applications

Scottish Fencing would like to invite applications for the positions of Junior Commonwealth Team Manager, and Foil, Epee and Sabre Weapons Coaches for the Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships in Jersey, 12-18 February 2012. 

Junior Commonwealth Team Manager.  Applicants will be required to manage and lead team members, coaches and all aspects of logistics and administration both before and during the Championships.  They will also be required to act in accordance with the direction of Scottish Fencing Ltd.  They should hold or be able to hold a Disclosure (CRB) certificate and should be confident and outgoing individuals.  A full job description will be published in due course.  Applications should be sent, by email, with a covering letter and fencing/coaching/administrative CV to admin@scottish-fencing.com, no later than Friday, 16 December 2011.

Foil Coach.  Applicants will be experienced foil coaches, who are able to give performance lessons and assist a team from the side of the piste.  They should hold a Scottish Fencing or equivalent foil coaching qualification; hold or be able to hold a Disclosure (CRB) certificate; and should be confident and outgoing individuals.  During the Championships the foil coach will be managed by the Junior Commonwealth Team Manager.  Applications should be sent, by email, with a covering letter and coaching CV to admin@scottish-fencing.com, no later than Friday, 16 December 2011.

Epee Coach.  Applicants will be experienced epee coaches, who are able to give performance lessons and assist a team from the side of the piste.  They should hold a Scottish Fencing or equivalent epee coaching qualification; hold or be able to hold a Disclosure (CRB) certificate; and should be confident and outgoing individuals.  During the Championships the epee coach will be managed by the Junior Commonwealth Team Manager.  Applications should be sent, by email, with a covering letter and coaching CV to admin@scottish-fencing.com, no later than Friday, 16 December 2011.

Sabre Coach.  Applicants will be experienced sabre coaches, who are able to give performance lessons and assist a team from the side of the piste.  They should hold a Scottish Fencing or equivalent sabre coaching qualification; hold or be able to hold a Disclosure (CRB) certificate; and should be confident and outgoing individuals.  During the Championships the sabre coach will be managed by the Junior Commonwealth Team Manager.  Applications should be sent, by email, with a covering letter and coaching CV to admin@scottish-fencing.com, no later than Friday, 16 December 2011.
