For clarification I would like to point out that the number of declined invitations is due to the proximity of the event to school examinations.

Any appeal relating to the selected team must be made to the Scottish Fencing office in writing or by email admin@scottish-fencing.com before 17.00 on Wednesday 14th March 2012.

Appeals should state the name of the fencer concerned and the grounds of the appeal. This date has been extended from the original date of 12th March because of the unavoidable delay in publishing the full team. Appeals will be considered as quickly as possible and the final team selection following the appeals process will be confirmed on the Scottish Fencing website.

Non travelling reserves will be named at a later date.  Non travelling reserves will only be invited to take part in the UKSG if one of the four selected team members has to withdraw unexpectedly prior to the departure of the team on May 6th.

I would like to congratulate all the selected fencers on their achievement.
