Big Successes at Veterans Age Groups

Big successes at the Veteran Age Group qualifier this week for Scottish fencers qualifying them for the European team championships in the Netherlands. For those who won gold, there is also a guaranteed place for the World Championships in Livorno Italy in October.

  • David Stephen Rennie - MS Cat 3
  • Georgina Usher - WE Cat 1
  • Nick Mort - MF Cat 1
  • Viv Frith - WS Cat 4

 

Silver

  • Hugh Kernohan - ME Cat 3

 

Bronze

2018 First Aid course

This course is a Level 6 qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work. It lasts for 3 years and is a nationally recognised qualification. Certificates are awarded by First Aid Awards a national awarding body. 

It will be hosted at Linlithgow Academy Sports Centre from 9:30am till 3:30pm.

This is a full-day course starting at 9:30am till 3:30pm. It will cover everything a fencer, parent, or new club armourer will need to learn in order to repair and maintain personal and club fencing equipment. A must for all competitive fencers and club armourers.

BYC 2018- Scotland East Section Qualifier

If you are a East Section Youth Fencer looking to enter the British Youth Championships, the East Section qualifer will be held at Edinburgh Fencing Club,  St. Thomas of Aquins RC High School on Thursday the 1st and Tuesday the 6th of March.
