Scottish Fencing Academy - Coach Education Level One and Level Two Courses

Weekend 1: 23/24 January 2016          

Weekend 2: to be arranged but likely to be approximately four weekends after the 23/24 January

Time: 9am till 5pm each day

Venue: Salle Ossian, Unit 4, Friarton Road, Riverview Business Park, Perth PH2 8DF

 

Level One

Level One is a two day course and on completion it will qualify you to be an assistant metal coach in the weapon chosen by yourself.

Cost: £50 to SF members, £100 to non members.

Note: This is likely to be the last time this course is run at this price!

 

Level Two

The Level Two course will include: Individual Lessons, Fitness for Fencing, Nutrition, Talent ID, Feedback and Fault Correction.

Cost: £50 to SF members, £100 to non members.(Usual cost £200 to SF members and £300 to non-members.)

To apply you should meet one of the following criteria:

  1. have completed the Level One pilot and any Action Plan given to you by the tutors,
  2. already hold a coaching qualification, or
  3. have coaching experience already and understand the principles of how to coach
