Vincent joins Scottish Fencing having spent several years working within sport in Scotland.  Most recently in a short contract with Scottish Squash, Vincent also spent three years as Operations Manager at Scottish Hockey and has also served on the board of Scottish Archery for the last two and a half years where he lead the strategic planning process for their increased investment plan for the 2017-2021 period.

A graduate of the Sportscotland Future Leaders Programme, Vincent also brings several years experience of working in utilities and various volunteer roles within sport. He is also a Scout Leader in the southside of Glasgow where he lives with his wife and three children.  A former Royal Navy Lieutenant Vincent enjoys reading, rugby, hillwalking and the general chaos of a large, young family whilst he also crams in a distance learning Computing Science degree.

Expressing his delight at joining the Scottish Fencing team Vincent said “It is a real privilege to be joining Scottish Fencing at what is a time of significant change for sport in Scotland overall.  I am looking forward to getting started and meeting as many people as I can within the fencing community in Scotland as there are so many people committing time and effort to energise clubs and athletes throughout the country.  It is a hugely exciting time for me in a personal and professional sense and I can’t wait to get started."
