Andy Alderman

Club Development Officer

As of November 2016, we are delighted to announce that Andy is returning to his post after a period of unpaid leave. He will continue the work he started in the summer and you can contact him at once again.

Andy Alderman joined Scottish Fencing as its second part-time national development officer. Many of you will know Andy through his coaching at squad events and performance academies. Andy was an international GB fencer in his youth and is a diploma level coach at all three weapons. He developed the highly successful Shetland fencing club over 20 years and since moving to Edinburgh he has worked with Keith Cook in Fencing Fun - and between the two of them they are coaching over 300 primary age children each week in plastic fencing.
