Do you want to try a new sport that is exciting, athletic and fast?  Fencing is for you and easy for anyone of any age to start.

Scottish Fencing are running free Try Fencing! sessions on the weekend of the Scottish Open. It's opportunity for you to try the sport out for yourself with the help of one of our top coaches.

The sessions will last just over an hour and will involve warm up, games and introductory training.  You will be using plastic fencing equipment (provided by us) which is very easy to get started with, extremely safe and suitable for all ages.

As the event is taking place at the same time as one of the UK's major fencing tournments (The Scottish Open), there will be an opportunity to watch some of Scotland's top fencers in action. Medal matches take place on both Saturday and Sunday starting around 1500. Your coach will take you to see the tournament at the end of your training session.
