At Scottish Fencing we want children and young people to stay safe and have fun while taking part in fencing. Everyone involved in Scottish Fencing has a duty to safeguard the welfare of all children in their care.

Scottish Fencing are running free Try Fencing! sessions on the weekend of the Scottish Open. It's opportunity for you to try the sport out for yourself with the help of one of our top coaches.
Fencing classes will be starting at the Breadalbane Community Campus, Aberfeldy, on 24th August 2013 and every Saturday thereafter from 1pm - 4pm.
Dundee Fencing Club is running another beginners course!
The course will start on Sunday 21st July and run for 6 weeks.

The course will start on Sunday 31st March and run for 6 weeks (there will be a 1 week break after 3 weeks). The venue is Ward Road Gym in Dundee and the class will run from 2.30pm-4pm. The cost of the course is £30 per person and all equipment is provided by the club. Places need to be booked in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
An exciting mix of athletic sport and tactical combat, fencing is a great way to exercise both body and mind.
It's a naturally sociable activity (it's tricky to fence on your own!) which attracts people from all walks of life (contrary to the image sometimes seen in films).
