From this beginner’s introductory class she went onto pass her SAFU and BAF coaching exams. She coached many youngsters in her time starting some international fencers on their paths to success. She ran fencing clubs at St Margarets School and Scotus Academy to name just two. As well as coaching she was an active committee member standing on the Scottish Schools Committee.
