Scotland's Richard Kruse qualifies for the Olympics!
Richard Kruse booked his place at the 2012 London Olympics by winning the FIE Satelite event in Copenhagen on Friday 24th March. Only a win at the event would gain Richard enough World Cup points for an automatic place in this year's Olympic Games, and in an exciting final Italian Francesco Trani took Richard to 12-all at time before Richard scored the decisive hit (for a more detailed account of Richard's triumph, visit http://britishfencing.com/news/latest-news/?n=524 ).
Scottish Fencing is delighted with Richard's success and we all wish him the very best at the Olympics.
