The Commonwealth Fencing Championships (both Senior Open & Veteran events) are being held in Largs between the 10th and 15th November for the Seniors and the 16th and 19th November for the Veterans event.  

The following fencers have been selected to represent Scotland in the teams competitions in the CVFC2014 in Largs.

The venue for the selection competition on 1 November is now confirmed as Dunfermline High School.

The 2015 Scottish Open Fencing Tournament will now take place on the weekend 24-25 January 2015, not on 3-4 January as was previously announced. Further details will appear soon.

We are delighted to welcome Elizabeth (Liz) Anderson, née Roy, to the staff of Scottish Fencing. Liz is the new Executive Administrator in charge of Scottish Fencing's office; the previous administrator Alan Loveland is to retire at the end of December.

The Aberdeen Open, formerly known as the Doric Open, will be taking place on the weekend 28-29 March in 2015.

Mark's latest win took place at the Hendon (N London) Sabre Leon Paul Junior Series competition on 20 September 2014. Here he is on the podium, having won the Under 13 event.
